Antioxidants and Amino Acids
Some other antioxidants and amino acids that can be found in watermelon that aid in healthy-looking skin are glutathione and L-citrulline. Glutathione is an antioxidant that can lighten hyperpigmentation, while L-citrulline is an amino acid that protects the skin from pollution and the drying effects of air conditioning and cold weather.
