Being green is finally trending and people are extending their eco-friendliness to beauty routines. While we love our skincare rituals, it looks like it’s time to say goodbye to 10-step regimens. Too many bottles, too many products. For 2020, we predict that people will spend a bit more on a few great products. And they’ll save SO much time, too!
CBD Skincare
Searches for “CBD Skincare” increased by 367 percent in 2019, according to Harper’s Bazaar. And while this is a worldwide trend, it’s particularly relevant in Canada, where Cannabis is legal. CBD is a natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, so it makes a great addition to skincare products. We think it will continue to be one of the top beauty trends for 2020.
Sensitive Skin is In
In 2019, 60 to 70 percent of women claimed to have sensitive skin. As we’ve mentioned, most people who think they have sensitive skin don’t, but that doesn’t stop people from thinking that they do. It’s likely that people who are breaking out in rashes and redness are just not being gentle enough with their skin.
